I was looking at the site meter and I saw a visit from Halliburton....really! Usually it's just me, Maurinsky and an occasional "next blog" visitor, so I was quite pleased.

On behalf of the Halliburton Corporation, which I represent, let me express how unhappy our Board is with your implied statement about the humanity of those who run Halliburton. Your picture of Dick Cheney, for example, shows him in mid-contemptuous snarl. A very human display. We find this offensive, as you neglected to show him in his true Reptoid form.
Had you not been viewing Cheney through rose-colored glasses, you would have seen him in the process of devouring a human (he calls all humans by misleading terms such as "sirloin," "steak," "ribeye," and "chicken-fried steak"). Which is how he occupies most of the time he spends down in his bunker while waiting for the latest political storm to blow over. When the Pentagon revealed to him in a confidential memo that the actual number of American deaths resulting from the invasion of Iraq was 9,000 or more (rather than the 1500-1900 propagandized by the governent and repeated faithfully by the mindless media), Cheney actually reacted with disappointment.
